Mongolian Film "Bliss Bringer" Joins World Ethnic Film Festival
The World Ethnic Film Festival is back, bringing with it a lineup of captivating films from around the world. Among them is "Bliss Bringer" (Нарны Садан) from Mongolia, directed by Erdene Orosoo.
Set in the stunning Khangai Mountains, the film tells the story of two tribes who have herded yaks for generations. They come together once a year for the Naadam festival, a time to showcase their bull's strength. However, a rift forms during one Naadam, leading to a tale of vengeance.

"Children of Sun," a group from the Mongolian Children Palace, is delighted to present a glimpse of Mongolian culture at the Yilan International Children's Folklore and Folkgame Festival. Mongolian culture teacher Buyana, currently based in Taiwan, will be joining them to support this meaningful event, ensuring that each participant can fully enjoy and enrich their cultural experience.
Welcome you to join Mongolian National Day Event, where "Children of Sun" will share traditional dances, melodious songs, and harmonious music. Additionally, immerse yourself in Mongolian culture through informative exhibitions, enlightening demonstrations, and the opportunity to savor Mongolian cuisine.

【蒙古國陽之童舞團正在台灣宜蘭2023宜蘭國際童玩藝術節演出】
蒙古國兒童宮(Mongolian Children's Palace Ulaanbaatar)所屬之「陽之童舞團(Children of Sun) 」正在台灣宜蘭的2023宜蘭國際童玩藝術節，並於7月1日至7月10(每天18:00-18:30)進行演出，表演內容包括馬頭琴演奏及蒙古傳統歌舞。蒙古國兒童宮曾經於1976年前往台灣表演，睽違將近半個世紀，再次由童舞團團長OTGONJARGAL老師率領共22名團員來到臺灣，團員中年齡最小的只有9歲，大家對於參加世界知名的宜蘭童玩節都非常興奮。

Explore Mongolian Children's Stories at the Art Exhibition in Taipei!
The Mongolian children's art exhibition is happening at the Ulaanbaatar representative office in Taipei. It's filled with all kinds of paintings, handmade crafts, and clay art created by our talented children. They were inspired by stories they've read and learned. We're incredibly grateful to our Representative Office for co-organizing this event for the second year in a row, as well as to our art teacher, Suvdaagiin Urlan, and artist, Tuvshuu Illustration, for making our exhibition even more colorful and meaningful.
We really hope you enjoy all the beautiful art on display!

氣候行動夏令營旨在，對改善環境永續和氣候變化議題有熱忱的國中生提供切身的參與體驗。 此訓練課程將持續 2 天，重點是整合全球公民教育 (GCED) 計劃和全球永續發展目標 (SDG) 的原則和目標，特別是關於氣候行動的 SDG 13。計畫期間，安排來自蒙古、南非、宏都拉斯、馬來西亞、蒲隆地等多國國際教師與學生互動交流，彼此分享家鄉的歷史、文化、地理、語言、社會和其他與 GCED 相關的各種面向。

For over four years, we have been dedicated to promoting Mongolian culture in Taiwan, primarily by working closely with schools, cultural centers, museums, and other partners to offer diverse Mongolian cultural workshops, exhibitions, and consulting services. Our proud achievements include co-organizing the Mongolian Cultural Month with the National Palace Museum and participating in the Mongolian Tibetan Film Festival through our collaboration with the Mongolian Tibetan Cultural Center (MOC), among other endeavors.

GCED Taiwan team is recruiting international volunteer teachers for the "We Are Global Citizens" project!
"We are global citizens" is an UNESCO/APCEIU supported educational project for junior and high school students in Yilan County of Taiwan. The project provides 4 days intensive and interactive workshop followed by 3 days reflection exhibition for the public.
During the workshop students will gain knowledge on GCED concepts as well as to understand their rights, responsibilities and potential as global citizens in order to take meaningful action for a sustainable world.
If you are:
Passionate about humanitarian, social and educational work
Interested to pursue GCED and SDG studies
Willing to volunteer your time for the community then you are in the team!
